You can transfer Telkom airtime and Data to another Telkom number using the Telkom App or USSD code*180# on your mobile phone and following the instructions. You can only transfer airtime to a number on the same network.
- Dial *180# from your phone
- Select option 3 to Transfer Airtime
- Select the amount of airtime you would like to choose from, pre-defined options will be show in Rand value, R10, R20 and R50
- Enter the recipients Telkom Mobile cellphone number
- Confirm the transaction.
Once confirmed, you will receive a message confirming the airtime has been sent.
The recipient can now use the the airtime accordingly. To transfer Data you can follow the following process
- Dial *180# ffrom your phone
- Select Option 4
- Choose to transfer data which is option 2.
- Enter the recipients Telkom Mobile cellphone number.
- Choose the amount and confirm.You are only allowed to transfer 250MB, 500MB, and 1GB of data and there is a maximum transfer limit of 5GB of data each month and the subscriber is not allowed to transfer the entire available data.
